Tartaric acid and apple fruit extract make this the only shampoo in the range with a clarifying mechanism. Tartaric acid is a natural AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid), and apple extract contributes malic acid, which is another AHA. On the scalp, AHAs gently dissolve the buildup that product residue, hard water minerals, and dead skin cells leave behind. Used regularly, they keep the scalp working at its natural turnover rate rather than clogged underneath.

Lemon fruit extract brings vitamin C and natural citric acid. Together with the AHA pair, lemon brightens hair that has dulled from product or mineral buildup. Real lemon extract, not lemon fragrance, also contributes mild antibacterial activity at the scalp surface.

Grape skin extract is one of the densest natural sources of resveratrol, a polyphenol antioxidant studied for protecting hair follicles from oxidative stress. Wheat bran extract supplies proteins and B vitamins. Both quietly support hair structure between washes. Neither is the headline act. Both are doing work.

The surfactant system pairs Sodium Coco-Sulfate with four milder plant-derived cleansers: Coco-Glucoside, Coco-Betaine, and two methyl glucamides from sunflower and coconut. Aloe vera (Aloe Barbadensis) and hydrolyzed keratin underneath cushion the cleansing so the scalp does not feel stripped, even with the active AHAs working in parallel.
